2005 Three Sons Cuvee Pinot Noir
dark fruit and earth leaning toward Burgundy
Tasting Notes November 2016 (as written by participants to the 2016 Harvest Party)
Color: Clear and bright, gemlike
Nose: A bit of coconut and spice
Mouthfeel: Luscious, textural
Flavor: This wine needs more age. Incredible. Still bright acid you can tell is mellowing, Great fruit and slightly bitter finish that should clean up with a year or so!
Tasted Feb. 2015
Color: Bright red luminescent, slightly ambering toward edges. Showing some age, but still gorgeous.
Nose: Touch of fruit, caramel and vanilla with earth undertones
Flavors: Bright acids, dark fruit and earth leaning toward Burgundy. Finely grained tannin structure with mid-palate minerality. Long finish of fruit and tartness.
