2004 Estate Grown Pinot Noir
Dark raspberry, cherry with wafting spices
Tasting Notes November 2016 (as written by participants to the 2016 Harvest Party)
Color: Plum with slight ambering at edges, still clear and bright
Nose: Definitely Pinot Noir, varietally correct; earthy with raspberry and cherry notes
Mouthfeel: Fun explosive acid yet very smooth. Luscious
Flavor: Very pleasing, rich, earthy, still good fruit of raspberry and strawberry, well balanced, but giving way to forest floor and mushroom notes. Yes!
Tasted Feb. 2015
Color: Deep Garnet, slightly cloudy. Rich in textural suggestion.
Aromas: Dark raspberry, cherry with wafting spices, including cinnamon, pepper and forest floor. A light feral undertone hinting of sensuality.
Flavor and Mouth: Palate broad with full flavor saturation across all quadrants. Leaning to red fruits, rather than dark, including cranberry, cherry, and raspberry. The spicy aromas deliver on the tongue, with earthy forest floor. Complex with a long finish that penetrates and lingers of white pepper and earh.
