Kenya Safari 2008
August 01, 2008
Cost: Approx $6K per person all inclusive, except airfare to Kenya
Location: Beginning in Nairobi
Enjoy, from your private tent in the Masaai Mara, the largest animal migration on the planet. Fly in a small plane around Mt. Kilimanjaro, over herds of giraffes and elephants. Reside in your personal tented eco tourist camp with all the amenities for winemaker dinners with Italian and California winemakers. Join for a personal lunch at the estate of Richard, Meave, and their daughter, Louise Leakey, as we share Halleck Vineyard wines with them, and they share their Kenyan Pinot Noir from their winery, Zabibu, with us. Stay a week on an island in the Indian Ocean that is home to an untouched Islamic culture over 1300 years old in luxury accommodations with full service. Sail on an Arab sailing dhow personally owned and operated by the most successful restaurateur in Africa for a Halleck Vineyard dinner surrounded by Swahili dancers and musicians.
This will be a trip of a lifetime. It is not intended for children under 10. The trip is currently full, but if you are interested in joining, there is a waiting list. Please email your interest, the number of people in your party, and their ages. I will call you.
