The Halleck Vineyard Wine Club will not simply be a mailing list that receives wine and news. There will also be the added opportunity to travel around the world..
As evidenced by the annual harvest party, Halleck Vineyard is a different type of winery. It is built from the ground up on community. Travel has always been a passion. While a young man, Ross traveled throughout Europe and spent several years in Africa. From there, he began exploring Central America, including Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Belize, taking scores of journeys through the region. Jennifer spent a semester in Italy while at college. Ross and Jennifer spent time traveling across the southwestern United States and months in Guatemala in a Spanish immersion school. Their connections with people around the world run deep. The Halleck Vineyard Wine Club shares this passion with members through specially organized and very personal journeys.
Some of the adventures will be themed to wine and food. The first trip will be scheduled to Tuscany, where, a friend, Faith Willinger, has a cooking school in Florence. Other friends, the Pini Family, run a gorgeous Bed & Breakfast, walking distance from Faith’s. A third family, the Baldis, own a working winery in Chianti housed in an 11th century castle, a portion of which they have converted into a Epoque Hotel.
Other journeys will have different tilts. Anticipated trips to visit friends include: Kenya, Roatan, Honduras, Burgundy, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico Baja California, Mexico Kachemack Bay State Park, near Homer, Alaska
One big or international trip per year for 6-10 people will be organized, with at least one more domestic adventure, whether it be a weekend in San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta or New York City, or a hike or kayak along the Point Reyes National Seashore.
Please consider joining the Halleck Vineyard Wine Club and the Hallecks on these journeys. They will experiences of a lifetime: sharing wine, food, friends, and exotic destinations.
